This January 15th, we have the Resident Evil Showcase, and although the official focus is crystal clear (new gameplay + news about Resident Evil Requiem, which comes out on February 27th), Capcom dropped a bombshell that's setting off alarm bells: "some of the games shown are not suitable for children." I mean... why would they use the plural if it was ONLY Requiem? In this video, we'll cover everything: what's confirmed, what's a Capcom tradition (yes, the demo), and what might appear as "extras" in a short Showcase (it lasts around 12 minutes). And listen up: the livestream features Koshi Nakanishi, the director, so we'll most likely get a well-guided look at what's new in Resident Evil Requiem: systems, tone, maybe a bit of story, and finally, uncut gameplay. 🧟 Resident Evil Requiem: what's confirmed and what might surprise us Confirmed: Showcase focused on Resident Evil Requiem, with gameplay and official news. Possible (as is customary for Capcom): announcement of a demo/preview if they want us to try it "before it's too late." The big question: if, in addition to Requiem, another announcement is on the horizon (remake, expansion, side project, or even something small like a teaser). I'm not taking it for granted, but the "games" (plural) clue is there. And as a bonus from Capcom, I also have some news I'm excited about: Pragmata and Resident Evil Requiem are coming with dubbing/subtitles in Latin American Spanish and Castilian Spanish. Two flavors, as it should be. Let's hope other companies learn and stop treating us like we only speak one language.
