Sexual Reproduction in Flowering Plant- The organ of sexual reproduction is the flower. Male gametes are found in pollen grains and produced in the anthers of the flower. Female gametes are found in ovules and produced in the ovary of the flower. Microsporogenesis- The formation of microspores inside the microsporangia (or pollen sacs) of seed plants. A diploid cell in the microsporangium, called a microsporocyte or a pollen mother cell, undergoes meiosis and gives rise to four haploid microspores.
