Between ages 5 and 14, kidney failure is most commonly caused by hereditary diseases, nephrotic syndrome, and systemic diseases. Symptoms of kidney failure in children: 1. Protein leakage through urine 2. Pedal edema with facial swelling 3. Weakness 4.
