"In Circles" 100% (Extreme Demon) | Somie

Back on the NC grind! Finally got off my ass with like 7 non-extreme NCs I had to do (those being Ferminet, Destroyed Circles, IMPULSE, Purgatory, Rubenia, Sinister Glow, and Inferiorem Modum) and 3 extras (Neliswave, Super Mario Wave, and hallucinate). Having completed Generic Wave really motivated me to try to get done all the NC levels Sonic Wave or easier again. All I had was Molten Core, Bete Noire, VALOVI, Infinite Inversion, and In Circles. This was first off the chopping block and while it looked gimmicky and unconventional, I was able to learn and beat it with little struggle thankfully. I died to the end a couple times, but it really got consistent in the end. This was the first level since Tenth Circle in 2021 that I changed my primary icon set to black colors. The dual took forever to learn cause I was doing it wrong and it ate up a couple hundred attempts probably, then I realized I needed at least one of my icons to be wave the whole way through so it became super consistent. The only complaint I have gameplay wise is some of the clicks in the mountain part being RNG seemingly at times and the first green orb in the ball being a domino click that I died to a bunch. The dash orb at 53% I think it was isn’t aligned properly and screwed me over a couple times. Just a word of advice: DO NOT PUT MID AIR DASH ORBS IN WAVES! It almost never is consistent. The ending is really cool and works with the song. Like the last 10% being auto seems lazy at first, but it syncs well and matches the energy of the song perfectly, even though the song is not my favorite of Creo’s by any means. The style has a sort of Sunset Sandstorm/NC style and I think it honestly meshes better than expected. Like Falling Stars is a mix of Nine Circles and castle theme, In Circles accomplishes that really well in my opinion. I beat this on full detail and the decoration is worthy of a feature I think. Next is Infinite Inversion. I’m just gonna work my way up the ladder and TRY to get the other two (VALOVI and Molten Core) done before 2026. Thanks to everyone that read this.
