People gather memories as they live their lives, thus developing their souls. This is the story of a young woman traveling across a ruined continent to find the path toward the future. The theme of this game is "memory." There are moments when everyone must confront the past and their own memories. All memories, including both successes and failures, become nourishment for the future and help shape people. "Atelier Yumia" tells the story of Yumia and her companions as they follow the path they believe in while being confronted by the memories they discover along the way. Story: In a world where alchemy is deemed "taboo," the alchemist Yumia yearns for the truth the lies hidden in a ruined continent. The time has come for her to take the first step on her grand adventure across the continent. Main features: Freely traverse the vast open field in all directions The continent is an unexplored land where the player can use a wide range of items and actions to forge their path forward. Game cycle Explore the field and gather ingredients in order to synthesize items. The items you create are key to advancing the story and can be used for combat and further exploration. You can also use "Simple Synthesis" to create items while you are out in the field and construct bases using the "Building" feature. Create items while out in the field and customize bases however you like! You can use Simple Synthesis to create exploration tools for opening the path forward, as well as items that will benefit you during combat and synthesis. You can also use the Building feature to construct bases and then decorate them with furniture to your liking.
