Pittsburgh PIRATES at New York METS 7/27/99 Original FSNY Broadcast 🎥

Original FSNY Broadcast with Howie Rose and Fran Healy a game I previously had up on my more personal Phenia Film Youtube channel under the games attended series. Recorded and Digitalized off the original VHS Recorded tape which was later converted to DVD (cir.2002) and has now been restored and added to the Phenia Film MLB Archival page for the first time. 1999 was a season of a lot of Promotional and Special events around Shea Stadium. This was the stupid promo ''Turn Ahead the Clock Night' I still don't get it. Pittsburgh Starter Chris Benson pitches his first MLB complete game allowing just a solo Homerun to Robin Ventura in the 7th. Pirates LF Al Martin with two solo homeruns both off Hershiser a lead off HR in the 1st and another solo shot in the 7th which took Hershiser out of the game, and replaced by Jason Isringhausen who gives up another solo shot by RF Brant Brown in the 8th. Orel Hershiser pitches 6.1 innings giving up 4 runs on 7 hits and loses his 8th game of the season (10-8) while Kris Benson pitches the complete game and earns his 8th win of the season (8-8) striking out 5 and walking none.
