God of War Ragnarök Gameplay - Walkthrough | Part 6

Group encounters a dwarf who warns them about intruders — it’s actually them. They’re searching for Derlin , but the dwarf claims Derlin has no friends. He directs them to the safety office across the river and asks them to clean up “the head’s mess.” Sindri gifts them a beautiful compass that helps navigate places they plan together. Conversation reveals Derlin was once a rebellion leader , now fallen from favor. Mimir admits he’s responsible for the mining rigs Odin used to control dwarves. They discuss Odin and Thor’s atrocities — countless betrayals, murders, and manipulation of giants and gods alike. Combat ensues against various enemies; Kratos and Atreus fight fiercely. Atreus asks if it’s always moral to kill something trying to kill you — Kratos says “Yes.” They finally meet Derlin in the safety office — a bitter, sarcastic dwarf. Derlin refuses to help them free Tyr, not wanting to cross Odin again. Before they leave, he gives them a “fine” (actually a map) disguised as a ticket. The map leads toward a mine beyond the mountain — Tyr’s location. They travel by dwarven train , fighting enemies along the way. It’s revealed Odin burned the word “FAILED” into Derlin’s head as punishment for rebellion. Mimir warns that blind loyalty to Odin is dangerous. Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir continue toward the mine to find and free Tyr , hoping it might change the course of war. Cinematic Summary --- INT.
