I had this when I first came to Dubai and developed a liking for it. Thought it was some vada but could not figure out the ingredients as tasted different. Then one day stumbled upon a recipe for it and have been trying several since then till got the perfect flavor of the famous street food of the Middle East. This easy to make and healthy falafel recipe am sharing today will give you the exact taste and texture as you get in the famous street food shops here. Its an awesome snack and healthy for kids made with simple ingredients and a quick no cumbersome process. YouTube : / mycookingfantasy Blog : mycookingfantasy.com Email : [email protected] Facebook – / mycookingfantasy Twitter: - / fantasy_cooking Instagram: / mcf_mycookingfantasy Pinterest: / settings Ingredients To Grind o Chickpeas - 1 cup o Onion - 1 small o Ginger - 1 inch o Garlic - 5 to 6 pods o Green chilly - 1 o Red chilly - 3 o Cumin seeds - 1 tsp o Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp o Coriander leaves - 1/4 bunch o Salt - as required Other ingredients o Corn flour - 2 tbsp o Oil - as required Instructions: 1. Wash and soak the chickpeas for 6 to 8 hours 2. Now in a mixer add all the ingredients under and grind it a coarse paste without adding water. 3. Now add the corn flour and mix well. 4. Make it into balls and press slightly to get the falafel shape. 5. Now heat oil in a pan on medium flame. 6. Add the falafel one by one and flip to both the sides to fry evenly. 7. Once golden-brown remove from pan. 8. Crispy yummy falafel is ready to serve with sauce / chutney of your choice or plain.
