At 7, he began studying martial arts, drama, acrobatics, and singing at the Hong Kong Peking Opera School. One year later, he appeared in his first film. After graduating in 1971, Chan worked as an acrobat and stuntman, and eventually with Bruce Lee on the film "Fist of Fury." He adopted the name Jackie from a construction worker that took him under his wing while he was in college. In the early 1970s, Chan began to feature more prominently in Hong Kong cinema. His kung fu comedies soon made him the highest paid actor in the region. In 1996, he finally made it to Hollywood with 1996’s "Rumble in the Bronx." Soon, commercial hits like “Rush Hour” and “Shanghai Noon” propelled him to global stardom. 📲Watch the newest Brut videos on our mobile apps: ▶︎http://bit.ly/BrutiOS ▶︎http://bit.ly/BrutAndroid Discover More Brut: ▶︎ https://brut.media/us ▶︎ FB: / brutamerica ▶︎ IG: / brutamerica ▶︎ TW: / brutamerica Brut is an international video content publisher covering politics, technology, social justice, culture, and more. #brut #brutamerica #brutdocs
