16-Channel PWM Servo Motor Controller PCA9685 [Getting started with electronics?]

I'll be running the PCA9685 module, which can control 16 servo motors. It generates 12-bit PWM signals over 16 channels via I2C connection. The PCA9685 was apparently designed as an LED controller, but by setting the PWM frequency to 50Hz, it can also drive servo motors. The pinout is the same as for connecting to a Raspberry Pi, and all you need to do is connect five cables. There's a Node-RED node for the PCA9685, so I'll install it and run it.
