The King and Queen welcome the champion Spanish team
The Spanish national team was received by the royal family at the Zarzuela Palace after winning the 2016 World Cup. King Felipe VI congratulated the team on their historic victory against Argentina, before the champions continued with a meeting with Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and a celebratory parade through the streets of Madrid.
