Cell Phones-03 BRIEF FACTS:- In this case the prime accused Kumara Swamy, 52 yrs, native of Shiva Nagar, Warangal, Telangana. He dropped out of his school at 7thclass. Later he started working as a labour and has been working in Grain Market at Enamamula market, Warangal. Meanwhile he is addicted tobad habits. To meet his needs he hatched a plan to supply Ganja to earn money illegally. Meanwhile in the year, 2015 he was arrested in NDPS case at Mills Colony Police Station, Warangal and another NDPS case at Rajamundry, AP while transporting Ganja.In this juncture he developed contacts with main suppliers of Ganja at Khammam, Narsipatnam, AP, Odissa States and came in contact with Gorli Naidu @ Chinna at Rajamundry Court. After releasing from jail he continued supply Ganja in &around Hyderabad,Warangal, and Maharasthra. To continue his business Kumara Swamy contacted one of his source Gorli Naidu@Chinna, resident of Narsipatnam, AP to arrange the Ganja to supply to Hyderabad and Maharasthra. In which Gorli Naidu introduced his associate one Siva for arranging Ganja. After arrangingthe Ganjaby Gorli Naidu@Chinna, he contacted to Kumara Swamy for collection. Kumara Swamy contacted AgentAzam N/oSiddipet to arrange customers to resell the same. As per their plan Kumara Swamyalong with his driver namely Arjun N/oPithapuram, AP went to Narsipatnam in his own Swift Dzire car for collection of Ganja. Where they handed over the material in the outskirts of Tallapalem, Anakapally, AP. After collecting Ganja, Kumara Swamy, Driver Arjun, Siva and Azam decided to sell in Maharasthra to earn easy money illegally. MODUS OPERAND:- Gorli Naidu@ Chinna, R/O Narsipatnam of AP State, formed a gang consisting 6 to 8 persons namely Siva, Pandu and others to transport Ganja to other states illegally and to earn easy money. Whenever, they arranged customersChinna contacts one Guru main supplier N/O Chintapally area to arrangeGanja. After collecting material from Gorli Naidu@Chinna, he transfers the same to Tallapallam X Roads by avoiding the policecheck posts i.e. 1) Lambasingi, 2) Downoor, and 3) Marripalem and dump the same near Tallapalem forest area. They will conduct recce and take all precautionary measuresin every dealingwhile handing over the material.They used to collect 30% of nominal amount in advance in the morning on the delivery day. Later, in the night hours all the gang members formed at Outer Cordon and Inner Cordon near Tallapalem X Roads forest area. After collecting remaining amount they deliver the Ganja to suppliers like Kumara Swamy and others who sell the same in Warangal, Maharashtra and Hyderabad. On credible information, the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team along with HussainiAlam, Police, Hyderabad apprehended the accused at Puranapool Darwaza, Hussaini Alam limits and seized (102) KGs of Ganja, One Swift Dzire Carand (03) Cell phonesat the instance of the accused. The apprehended accused and seized material handed over to SHO, HusainiAlamPS for further investigation. APPEAL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC:- In recent times we have seen several youth/students getting addicted to Drugs, committing crime and involving in other anti-social activities. Several families have become victims of this menace. It is an ardent request from Hyderabad City Police to the youth/students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel free to approach police or pass information to Police to curtail such anti-social activities and strive for Drug free city.
