Demonstration for 'Child Q'

Demonstration outside Stoke Newington (Cokey Stokey) police station on 18th March 2022, 'Child Q' was taken out of her exam and strip-searched by police whilst on her monthly period. A teacher claimed that she smelt of Cannabis and called the police instead of her parents. No Cannabis was found after the search, but 'Child Q' was left feeling ashamed and humiliated after being forced to strip in front of people she did not know. She is just a child. Stoke Newington Police, along with the metropolitan police as a whole has a bad reputation for dealing in drugs, raiding places where cannabis is sold, stealing the herbs, and reselling it back to the dealers at extortionate prices. Numerous black people have been assaulted and even killed in their custody. The teacher in question has been fired, but this is not enough. A further demonstration tomorrow afternoon at 1pm (Sunday 20th March 2022) outside Hackney Town Hall is to demand the sacking of ALL the teachers involved, along with the four officers and the police borough commander, Detective Chief Superintendent Marcus Barnett.
