New Line Cinema and Zach Cregger, the original filmmaker behind the acclaimed and award-winning "Brutal Nights," present the new horror thriller, Weapons. When all the children in the same class – except one – mysteriously disappear on the same night and at the exact same time, everyone in town begins to question who or what is behind this strange disappearance. Weapons stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, with Benedict Wong and Amy Madigan. Director Zach Cregger also wrote the screenplay for Weapons, in addition to producing alongside Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz, and Raphael Margules, and the executive producers are Michelle Morrissey and Josh Brolin. Zach Cregger's creative production team behind the scenes includes cinematographer Larkin Seiple; production designer Tom Hammock; editor Joe Murphy; and costume designer Trish Sommerville. The score was composed by Ryan Holladay, Hays Holladay, and Zach Cregger. A New Line Cinema production, Subconscious, Vertigo Entertainment, Boulderlight Pictures, a Zach Cregger film, The Hour of Evil will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures in theaters and IMAX worldwide beginning August 8, 2025.
