È infatti la narrativa di una storia così curata nei particolari a dare quel valore aggiunto a un gameplay adrenalinico, ricco di spessore e fisicità, dove il giocatore riesce veramente a esaltarsi dopo una lunga sequenze in bullet time tra soldati colpiti a morte, vetri in frantumi e una colonna sonora che scandisce il ritmo dell'azione. A chiudere il cerchio dell'offerta contenutistica ci sono poi un paio di modalità extra per il singolo e soprattutto un comparto multiplayer profondo e ricco di sfaccettature che, pur non puntando al vertice del genere, riesce a offrire un piacevole valore aggiunto. In poche parole, un ottimo ritorno per un Max Payne più in forma che mai.
