Kevin Hart Banned From Oscars For Old "Homophobic" Tweets. Time For the #MAGA Hat Or No? 🤔

Just days after comedian Kevin Hart announced that he would host the 91st Annual Academy Awards, commonly known as The Oscars, he has announced that he won’t be the host. Reason for the reversal? Apparently, some people have found tweets that are nearly ten years old on his account that are being characterized as “homophobic.” According to Hart, the Academy called him with an ultimatum. Either apologize for the old tweets or we will not allow you to host the show. He chose to not apologize to them and stepped down from the hosting gig voluntarily. Kevin Hart did apologize to the LGBT community in a separate tweet away from the video in which he declined to apologize due to The Academy’s pressure. The apology was not an attempt to get the hosting gig back. This is not the first time Kevin Hart has been in hot water with social “police” in recent times. Just a few days ago, Hart was being labeled as some type of “racist” for his wife’s post on Instagram which featured his family at their one-year-old son’s Cowboys and Indians themed birthday party. He took to his Sirius XM Radio show “From the Hart” to speak on the issue. In a nutshell, he was just amazed with how far our society as Americans has gone away from what gave us strength.
