Chega De Suadade No More Blues Bass line Backing Track

Here is a bass line on the chord progression based on the Jobim classic “Chega De Saudade (No More Blues),” in the key of Dm/D. Since it is a Bossa Nova, and the bass line should be fairly sparse, I decided to record it with a shaker/loop. Instrumentalists AND vocalists will do well to learn/revisit these Jobim gems. Keyboard players and guitarists, don’t forget to study Brazilian comping concepts and patterns; they are very distinctive and crucial. This one is great for vocalists and jazz players, and the chord progression and melody are worth taking note of (you budding composers and arrangers out there!).
