Runny nose, cough, fever🤒. When should you go see a doctor?

By the 5th day of your Child's cold you usually will know how serious the new illness is. Whether you have a child with croup, bronchiolitis, or just a cold early on into an illness is to be seen over those first 5 days. Pneumonia could happen at any point after initial onset of symptoms. Ear infections typically come later into the illness but ear pain (without an ear infection) is common in younger children early into cold symptoms. Sinusitis in children 6 months and older is usually seen 14+ days into an illness unless they have had back to back illnesses. This video tries to help you in the timing of your doctor visits or to help you gauge if you need a visit when your child gets a cold. Be safe and well.
