There are three phases to the defeat Void Kong boss fight, which starts on the Hilltop Layer, before moving to the Lagoon and finally the Junction. You'll need to be able to beat him in all three locations with each one getting progressively more challenging. My best tips are to avoid the pink stuff, which I didn't work out until I got to the third phase, and then roll like crazy to avoid damage. Top up on apples where you can and you should be able to defeat Void Kong too, event with the intensity of the Junction phase. He's the main antagonist in Donkey Kong Bananza, so we're expecting him to return in some form or another as a later boss fight, so this won't be the last time you'll tangle with Void Kong.
