Boondi Rayta | boondi raita recipe #shorts #boondi rayta Here’s a simple and tasty Boondi Raita recipe for you: 🌿 Ingredients: 1 cup fresh curd (dahi) ½ cup boondi (store-bought or homemade) ½ tsp roasted cumin powder ¼ tsp black salt (kala namak) ¼ tsp red chilli powder (optional) ¼ tsp chaat masala (optional) Salt to taste Fresh coriander leaves – finely chopped 🥣 Method: 1. Whisk the curd – In a bowl, whisk 1 cup curd until smooth and creamy. Add a little cold water if you want thinner consistency. 2. Soak boondi (optional) – If boondi is very crispy, soak it in warm water for 1–2 minutes, then squeeze out excess water. This makes it soft. If you like crunchy boondi, add directly. 3. Mix spices – Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and chilli powder into the curd. Mix well. 4. Add boondi – Mix in the boondi just before serving. 5. Garnish – Sprinkle a pinch of cumin powder and coriander leaves on top. 🍽️ Serving: Serve chilled with paratha, pulao, biryani, or any Indian meal. If making in advance, keep curd mixture ready and add boondi only at serving time to retain some crunch.
