The 'Thiruppavai' is Tamil devotional religious hymns attributed to the female poet-saint Andal. 'Margazhi thingal' is the first song in the 'Thiruppavai'. As the name implies, the song signifies the auspicious bath in holy river in the moonlit nights of margazhi and how the mighty Lord Narayana will give his blessings. This is our humble attempt to sway to the meaningful yet mesmerizing lyrics of the 'Thiruppavai'. We thank the creators of this version of song conceptualized by Ms Suhasini Manirathnam.
