California Bearing Ratio (CBR) is a penetration test developed by the California State Highway Dept. to evaluate subgrade soil strength and determine thickness of pavement layers. 🧪 CBR Test Overview Conducted on remoulded soil at 95% compaction & optimum moisture content.
