1/ I had no plans to post today until I saw that we made it to 250k. I’m shocked and stocked. Thanks be to God indeed and thanks to you all. Never for one second did I imagine this would happen and it’s timely too because we are nearly at 200k on IG, and I’m preparing a sweet thank you video for IG so YT can have collateral enjoyment. 💕 2/ I want to dedicate this crush to @Sabahes_ASMR who is having a medical procedure for his health. Please everyone send him best wishes and prayers for a successful health journey with full and speedy recovery. We love you Sabs and we will be waiting until you ça join us again in ASMR. 🙏💕 3/ Mass on Sunday was amazing. It was all about preparing for Christ’s Ascension which falls on this coming Thursday. We will be going to Mass on Thursday to celebrate this. The thing that most stood out was when the disciples wondered why Christ, if He loved us, would leave us and go to Heaven. Why wouldn’t He just stay? I must admit I caught myself wondering about this during the Mass and wondering about it in general. Christ answered this question. He said if I don’t leave then I cannot send the Holy Spirit to come. In another place He also said if the fig tree doesn’t get uprooted and die then the fruit will not come out (or something like that). In our faith and life this is a very important lesson. When things end or people leave us in our lives we often focus on the negative - the absence and sadness and don’t think about the positive - the grace and growth that flows from that. Listen, yes I would like to be next to Christ all day erryday if I could, but Christ says having the Holy Spirit now is better for all of us. And remember that the Holy Spirit is the Advocate, the Paraclete, the Counseller, the Helper, the Giver of spiritual gifts, etc etc etc. This is better for our grace and growth at this moment in time. And at the appointed time, we shall all be reunited again; with Christ, and our loved ones gone before us (or so we pray). FYI, if we want to have the Holy Spirit and His gifts inside of us, this is freely available through the sacraments of the Catholic Church, namely Baptism and Confirmation (in case anyone wanted fo know😘). Much love, UPJ 💕💕
