Corn Vada Recipe | sweet corn vada | sweet corn garelu Corn vada is an healthy version of snack which can be served at tea time. This vada has its own unique taste as compared to other lentils based vada with the addition of nutrients from corn. INGREDIENTS: Corn kernel - 2 cups Onion - 1 large(finely chopped) Green chilli - 1 tsp(finely chopped) Mint/pudina leaves - 2 tsp(chopped) Coriander leaves - 2 tsp(chopped) Cumin/Jeera - 1/2 tsp Gram flour/Besan - 1/2 cup Rice flour - 1/4 cup Salt as per taste Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Oil for deep frying Instructions to prepare vada: 1. Grind the corn kernels into course paste. 2. Add all ingredients above and mix well. Add water if required. 3. take a ball sized dough, pat it to vada shape. 4. Deep fry it in hot oil until it turns golden crisp. 5. Drain it and serve hot.
