PV Sindhu Becomes First Indian To Win Gold In World Badminton Championships

She is the first Indian to win a gold medal in the World Badminton championship, and is the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal. She is also one of the two Indian badminton players to ever win an Olympic medal – the other being Saina Nehwal.
