Is the Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 finale the ending we actually deserved? In this video, I break down exactly what worked, what failed, and the shocking moments that left us speechless. I just finished Stranger Things 5 Volume 2, and while I enjoyed it overall, I definitely have mixed feelings. In this video, I break down what worked and what didn’t. My biggest issues were the pacing, the overly explanatory dialogue, and some moments that felt padded or emotionally flat. I also talk about plot armor, continuity problems, and a few performances that didn’t land for me this season. On the positive side, we got some fantastic acting from Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin, and Gaten Matarazzo. Lumax continues to shine, Dustin and Steve finally reconciled, and Max’s recovery felt realistic and earned. We also got huge lore reveals — what the Upside Down really is, Vecna’s true plan, and why the Mind Flayer is the real final villain. I dive into Project MK Ultra, Dr. Kay, and why Kali’s role still feels suspicious. Volume 2 was weaker than Volume 1, but it answered major questions and set the stage for the final battle.
