Batman Arkham Knight is a 2015 action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and plublished by Warner Bros. The game is based on the DC Comics relevant superhero Batman. Batman Arkham Knight is the successor to the 2013 video game Batman Arkham Origins and is the fourth main installment in the Batman Arkham series. Batman Arkham Knight was released world wide on June 23, 2015 for Plastion 4, Xbox one, PC, Mac OS and Linux. The main storyline of this game is set one year after the events of the 2011's Batman Arkham City. This storyline follows Batman as he confronts Scarecrow, who has launched an attack on Gotham City with his new perfected fear gas. The attack triggers a city wide evacuation. Scarecrow, with the help of the new mysterious Arkham Knight, is able to unite Batman's greatest foes in an attempt to finally destroy the thorn in their sides that is Batman. With Batman back against the wall and the criminals running loose. Batman turns to his closest's friends and allies to help him save Gotham from the evil clutches of Scarecrow, and the Arkham Knight's Army. To name of few of his friends Commissioner Gordon, Oracle (A.K.A Batgirl) (A.K.A Barbara Gordon), Nightwing (A.K.A. Dick Grayson), and Robin (A.K.A. Tim Drake). But the Scarecrow, and the Arkham Knight isn't the only villain who's constantly on his mind as a reoccurring face seems to haunt him as the night continues. What is presented in the game is a third person perspective with the primary focus being on Batman's melee combat skills, stealth abilities, detective skills, and gadgets. As you progress through the game you will have the chance to level up which will allow you to upgrade Batman's melee attacks, and gear and other equipment all depending on the your unique way of playing the game. Batman can freely move around the open world of Gotham City by progressing through main story he able to roam other parts of Gotham City that allow Batman to be introduced to characters that follow storyline or undertaking in side missions.
