Surah Fatir (in Arabic text: فاطر) is the 35th chapter of the Qur’an. The surah titled in English means “The Originator” and it consists of 45 verses. Inspirational Quote: “And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed, that for Allah is easy.” Surah Fatir Ayat 11 About this Surah: In this Surah Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) warns the non-believers on their negative attitude towards Islam and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The main premise of this Surah is to reiterate the oneness of Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) who is the originator, creator, and how all things rely upon him as the provider. In verses 29-39 it contrasts the difference between the believers and the non believers and in the final verses, 40-45 it discusses shirk, idols, and where disbelieving will ultimately lead you to.
