This was a collaborative project between Bournemouth University PIER Partnership, Access to Food Partnership and Christchurch Community Partnership. Funded by Clinical Research Network (CRN) Wessex. The target group (older people) was identified by the partners involved as one of the groups least likely to access or accept help from food projects, such as a food banks. Two older people were identified as community researchers, to co-design an approach and connect with other older people experiencing food insecurity.
