This is the opening sequence for the short-lived sitcom "Bustin' Loose". Airing from September 19 ,1987 until May 28, 1988 in syndication, the show was an adaptation of the 1981 comedy feature of the same name that starred Richard Pryor and Cicely Tyson. Sonny Barnes (Jimmie Walker, "Good Times") is a former Philadelphia con artist, who had been caught by the authorities and sentenced to five years of community service. He was placed in the home of social worker Mimi Shaw (Vonetta McGee), who lived with four orphans: Rudey (Larry O. Williams, Jr.), Trish (Tyren Perry), Nikky (Aaron Lohr) and Sue Anne (Marie Cole). Sonny lives in the basement and worked around the house doing odd jobs. Meanwhile, the kids all loved listening to Sonny's ofttimes exaggerated tales.[2]
