My Singing Monsters | My Amber Island Remix

Let me just preface everything I'm about to say by declaring that in my humble opinion, Amber Island is the WORST Island that My Singing Monsters has ever done! Goodness gracious, I've never seen this fanbase so SPLIT on an Island! I mean, th'art telling me that thou'st been planning an Island with EVERY FIRE MONSTER?? Including monsters NEVER BEFORE SEEN by human eyes?? And yet it sounds like....that... I still remember on Day 1 I listening to that song and feeling that it could either be one of the best songs ever written by the Monster-Handler team, or it could be the biggest fumble in Monster World History! Guess which one ended up being the case... They did pretty much everything I hoped would not happen, a weak beat, everything is all over the place, a nothing bassline; I still can't believe how DIRTY they did Stogg and Woolabee! Those monsters are KNOWN for carrying the song's foundation, and they just....ughhhhhh! The worst part is that there's good stuff to be had here! Like the Sooza-Floogull duet is so unique and honestly carries the song lol, and also some of the monsters have genuinely impressive tracks, like Kayna is so expressive in this island, and also Wynq has like, one of my favorite Wynq tracks in MSM, it's so deep and rumbly compared to how he sounds on Oasis which is the audio equivalent of gravel... And don't forget Tring and Edamimi who bring some nice flair to the beat, and also I like how monsters like Boskus and Phangler add a little accent to the chorus verse, that's all they need to do y'know and I think they execute that perfectly! And also Tiawa Pops OFF on this Island, her part is like the best she's ever BEEN! But Oh yeah, oh right, it's all Amber Island! They were so concerned about having each monster play a small part and not getting in the way of each other that they forgot to...you know...build an actual song. In fact, can we talk about the Sooza-Floogull Duet? It's probably my BIGGEST Come-Around ever in My Singing Monsters. I remember when she came out, I was SO ANGRY at how they handled her! How dare they make her OFF TIME with Floogull! How DARE They Make her part so WEAK when she could have been playing powerful CHORDS! It took me a while... But I started to see the Musicality of it. She's not off time, she's playing a syncopated rhythm, and the more I listened to it and realized what they were going for, the more I couldn't get ENOUGH of it! It's so nasty, so rotten, so DIRTY! Floogull puts up a very triumphant notion only for Sooza to rub her feet with it! She walks all over that thang with the sway of her hips and the wobble of that sousaphone! Ugh! It's probably my FAVORITE aspect of this whole song! That rhythm is just...so unique, so bouncy, so good! I still did a little Omage to what I thought she should've played in Tuskski's verse in case thou wert wondering what that was, but make no mistake, I am VERY Happy with how Sooza and Floogull turned out; it's one of the few good things about this island if you ask me. Speaking of Good things that Plant Quint! Goodness Gracious! and Viveine too! I'm so impressed with how they did those two! Easily some of the best monsters on the island, which speaks to how creative their sounds and designs were, and also how terrible everything else is LOL! Gnarls has such a GOOD Chorale bit, it's so beautiful when put up next to Flum Ox and Boskus! Does it save the song? Heck NO! This song was lost a long long time ago, but I'm at least happy they ended it on a high note... Oh yeah... AMBER ISLAND IS FINALLY OVER! THANK GOODNESS! This torture of zapping the monsters! UGGHHHH It's finally over! I hate this island so much LOL. Now of course I don't want to badmouth the Monster Handlers, I mean, they only produced like, my favorite game of all time, and nor shouldst thou feel bad for liking Amber Island the way it is in-game! If thou likest it, that's fine, that's great in fact! It means that thou canst derive enjoyment from something that I simply cannot, and more power to thee! This is just how I feel the song should have sounded. Maybe thou enjoyest it, maybe thou dosn't, I guess that's what you get for having an Island so up in the air to interpretation, whatever the case is, I welcome all critique, interpretations, and opinions! Oh yeah, Sooza, and Edamimi were both found, which is why they sound so clean. Which means Until Floogull's VST is found...
