Two Arrested Following Sunday Morning Shooting

DAYTON -- Police took two people into custody Sunday morning after setting up a perimeter on Wayne Avenue. It started with a shooting on Dayton's west side on Fountain Avenue. "No one was struck, it was just some property damaged. The west side crews put out a description of the named suspect and a very good description of a getaway driver," said Sgt. Aaron Farley. Police also had a tip that suspects were at the home on Wayne. Crews set up a perimeter and were able to get the suspects to surrender. Wayne Avenue was closed for a short time as a result. The incident remains under investigation.
