Visitors from visa-free countries (e.g., EU, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan) must apply for a £16 Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before traveling—valid for multiple visits within two years, each stay up to six months. Babies and children also need one! 🔹 Who’s exempt? You don’t need an ETA if you already hold a UK visa, live/study in the UK, or have British or Irish citizenship.
