No one tells you this when you visit Takachiho Gorge - don’t go after rainfall otherwise it looks like this… We saw on the forecast that the rest of our trip was looking like a washout and FORTUNATELY Taylor suggested we should visit Takachiho a week earlier than we had planned to, in case the rain changed the conditions. And it’s a good job he did! We decided to stop by again on the day we originally planned to visit and the difference was stark!
