We join Nathan 'Nate' Drake on a new adventure to locate the Cintimani Stone in the long lost city of Shambhala (Shangri La). Along the way it becomes clear that Nate needs to find the Cintimani Stone before the evil warlord Zoran Lazarevic reaches it first. In this story we are introduced to new characters Chloe Frazer, Harry Flynn and Tenzin whilst also being reacquainted with Victor 'Sully' Sullivan and Elena Fisher.
