Turkey Earthquake Relief

A 7.8 quake struck Turkey at 4:17 AM Monday, February 6, 2023. Hours later, a 7.5 magnitude quake struck more than 60 miles away. Over 7000 people have been killed and tens of thousands wounded. Hundreds of aftershocks have since occurred. In all, ten cities have been damaged. Unknown numbers are still trapped under rubble, and the toll is expected to rise as rescue workers dig through the wreckage. Thousands of survivors are homeless in the cold rain and snow, and others are afraid to go indoors. This is a “crisis within the crisis” as this region of Turkey is already a temporary home to over 4 million Syrian War Refugees who depend on aid and relief. CRI is preparing for imminent deployment to bring aid and urgently needed relief. We intend to be on the ground in the next 5-8 days. PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A DONATION NOW. If you are interested in joining one of our teams, please email [email protected] A.S.A.P. to inform us of your interest. Crisis Response International only deploys credentialed CRI Responders.
