With the Planetcracker’s entire crew unresponsive to their calls, the team decided to board and investigate. However, upon their arrival, they discovered the bloodied, empty halls of the ship and were attacked by Necromorphs—creatures created by an alien virus that had infected the crew. Isaac became separated from the others and was pursued by the monsters, but he found a Plasma Cutter and learned that dismembering the creatures was the key to survival.
