Good morning, beloved Child of God. This is a new day—a gift from the Lord. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. But before you jump into the tasks of the day, I want to ask you something from the heart: Have you taken a moment to seek God first? Have you paused to surrender your plans, your burdens, your desires to the One who knows the end from the beginning? Too often, we wake up and immediately reach for our phones. Social media, emails, the news... But what if we broke that cycle? What if the first thing we did was say: “Jesus, guide me today.” The Word reminds us in Matthew 6:33: “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” When you put Jesus first, everything else begins to align—not always perfectly, but purposefully. He orders our steps. He provides what we truly need. Why should you seek God first? Because He knows what you don’t. He sees the path ahead, the pitfalls, the blessings, the open doors. And when you surrender, He leads. Remember Daniel? Even under the threat of death, he sought God first—three times a day. And because he did, God shut the mouths of lions. Say this with me right now: “Father, I surrender this day to You. Lead me, guide me, show me Your will.” If that is your prayer today, type it in the comments: “Jesus, I put You first.” Let’s declare it boldly! Speak it out—because as Proverbs 18:21 says: “The tongue has the power of life and death.” Comment below: “Jesus, I put You first.” And if you believe God is moving in your life, write: “I believe God is moving in my life.” Be the light. Share this message with someone who needs it. Tag a friend, send a message, or simply tell someone: “I’m praying for you today.” Let’s pray together: Heavenly Father, We give this day to You. Thank You for the breath in our lungs and the gift of life. We choose to seek You first—not our phones, not our to-do lists, but You. Align our steps with Your purpose. We cast our cares upon You, trusting in Your provision. Give us wisdom, discernment, peace, and courage to follow You. May our lives reflect Your love, our words bring encouragement, and our hearts stay rooted in Your truth. We declare: Jesus, You are first. In Your mighty name we pray, Amen.
