9:30 a.m. Mass of the Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

#LIVE | Welcome to St. Bernard Catholic faith community in Glassell Park, California, and our celebration of the Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time. And raising his eyes toward his disciples he said. + Blessed are you who are poor. Blessed are you who are now hungry. Blessed are you who are now weeping. Wait one moment! How can it be that to be poor and hungry and weeping and struggling in many other ways that Jesus can say we are blessed? It does not make any sense. But somehow it is precisely in these struggles that grace and love, and the Spirit of God find their way deep into our lives. It is not in spite of, but because of these challenges that our spirit becomes more open to, and even in need of, God's love. + On this #OrdinaryTime, we gather as the Body of Christ with #LACatholics, and our viewers around the world — especially our online communities in the #Philippines, and #Italy.
