The main antagonist of Vanguard's Campaign, Freisinger is an ambitious and arrogant Nazi Officer, working at the Gestapo's Berlin Headquarters. He is chief interrogator of the SS and the secret architect of the mysterious Project Phoenix. Arthur Kingsley, Polina Petrova, Lucas Riggs, Wade Jackson, and Richard Webb make up the group of CoD: Vanguard Campaign characters that players will play as, while Hermann Wenzel Freisinger is a Nazi Officer.
