Reversing Falls & Rapids Saint John New Brunswick

This video shows the natural phenomenon on the Saint Johns River in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Essentially this is created when the strong tides of the Bay of Fundy force the flow of water to reverse against the prevailing current in the Saint Johns River when the tide is too high. The rapids are created several underwater ledges in this location. So any boats wishing to pass through this area only have a short window of the day to do so when the tides are equal or slack tide.
