Wed., Dec. 24 Christmas Candlelight Service 2025 Sacred Night One of the greatest gifts of Christmas is that it offers us a Sacred Night. A Sacred Night could be a clear view of the vast cosmos in the evening sky. It can be watching Home Alone and drinking hot cocoa, while the kids run in circles around the couch. It could be a remembrance, eating a cookie freshly baked from grandma’s recipe book and feeling emotional. Christmas is a holy day that evokes something primordial and sacred. It’s a night to take our eyes off the clock and celebrate what’s truly real and what really matters—the love of our ancestors and families, the love of our own life journey, the love of God and the birth of the holy in humanity, over two thousand years ago but remembered as an eternal event—this Sacred Night. We welcome you into an invocation of this Sacred Night with an amazing musical team featuring Laura Berman, Gary Lynn Floyd, Cody Qualls, Sheryl Renee, and Barry Ebert, accompanied by Acoustic Eidolon, the Mile Hi Choir, and the Mile Hi Band Minister Emeritus Roger Teel leads our candlelighting ritual as our ministerial team guides you through readings and sacred thoughts for the season. _________________________________ Mile Hi is a New Thought church in Lakewood, Colorado.
