TODAY’S READINGS First Reading — Mal 3: 9-20 Psalm — Ps 97: 5-9 Second Reading —2 Thes 3: 7-12 Gospel Reading — Lk 21: 5-19 What Our Hearts Should Hold Jesus teaches us that all earthly things, no matter how impressive, will eventually pass away. Even the great Temple in Jerusalem could not last forever. What truly endures is our relationship with God. He also speaks of the trials and challenges His followers may face. These can sound worrying, but Jesus tells us not to be afraid. He promises to give us the wisdom and strength we need when difficulties arise. We are invited to place our trust not in human achievements, but in God’s faithful love. When we face struggles—whether in our families, our work, or our personal lives—Jesus calls us to remain steady in faith. Perseverance does not come from our own strength, but from staying close to Him. No matter what happens, we can be certain that God is with us. By holding on to Him, we will find life. #catholicmass #16November2025 #LIVESTREAM #HolyCross #Frhenrysiew #Frandrewlin #FrJohnKing #FrAnthonyHo #CardinalWilliamGoh #Thirty-thirdSundayinOrdinaryTime #Lateran Basilica #HolyMass
