PSALM 3 | New King James Version | Audio Bible Reading | NKJV

#psalmofdavid #powerfulpsalms #psalms Psalm 3 is a psalm of lament and praise, written by David during a time of great difficulty. The psalm begins with David expressing his distress and fear: "Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! Many are they that rise up against me" (v. 1). He goes on to recount the many ways in which his enemies have attacked him, both physically and emotionally. He feels like he is surrounded and alone, and he is afraid that he will not survive. However, the psalm does not end in despair. In the second half of the psalm, David turns to God for help. He reminds himself that God is his shield and his strength, and he prays for God's protection and deliverance. He also expresses his confidence in God's ultimate victory: "I will not fear though ten thousand rise up against me" (v. 6). Psalm 3 is a powerful reminder that even in the midst of difficulty, we can find hope in God. When we are surrounded by enemies, we can trust in God's protection. When we are afraid, we can remember that God is our strength. And when we feel alone, we can know that God is always with us.
