1982 Football

Grainy film of a Sept. 17, 1982 Red Devil Football 16-0 road win of the Lovell Bulldogs. This was the fourth win in as many tries for the Kay Fackrell guided Red Devils, who would go to 5-0, before dropping two of their final three to finish 6-2 in the fall of '82. I may try to see what I can do to restore this footage, but there may not be much. The old style VHS camcorders of the day don't even compare to video captured by smart phones of this day and age, in terms of quality, in particular, from a distance and at night. The early part of this video, which includes some natural lighting, is a bit more clear than when relying on the stadium lights. That footage was red in color, due to the camera's processing so I applied a filter to take the red out, resulting in a black and white, but clearer picture. I have some basketball footage from this 1982-'83 sports season, which is much better quality, but figured I would post this for the benefit of those who were a part of this Red Devil team.
