Deoghar Tour | Basukinath Dham | Trikut Pahar | Baba Baidyanath Dham | Naulakha Mandir | Jharkhand

Hallo, Welcome to Trip TukiTaki. Deoghar is one of the best places of west for changes. We started our tour with bike from Murshidabad, spent a night at Tarapeeth and left the next morning to Deoghar. On the way to Deoghar via Dumka, we visit Baba Basukinath Dham temple. Few people come to visit Basukinath temple as it is about 43 kilometers from Deoghar. However, this temple is seen by local people as the twin temple of Baba Baidyanath Dham . After visiting Baba Basukinath Dham of Jharkhand, we left for Deoghar to visit the best tourist places. On the way to Deoghar, we get a glimpse of Trikut hill. Trikut Parvat is formed with three hills – Bramha, Vishnu and Maheshwar. The name “Trikut” has come to this way. After a short trek and visiting the temples of trikut pahar we set off our journey again and reached our destination Deoghar at that evining. We lodge in Maa Tara Hotel for the night. The hotel is nearer to Baidyanath Dham and Naulakha Mandir so, the next day we went out on foot towards Baidyanath Dham temple. The Vaidyanath Dham temple also known as Baba Baidyanath dham or simply Baba Dham in Deoghar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India and the most sacred place of lord Shiva. After offering puja we went out towards Naulakha temple which is 2 km away from Deoghar city. This historical temple was constructed in the year of 1940 with the donation of nine lakh rupees, hence, the name “Naulakha” has come like this. The Naulakha Mandir in Deoghar established by Charusila Dasi, she was queen of Pathuria Ghat and belongs to a royal family from Kolkata, West Bengal. The Naolakha temple looks like the temple of Ramakrishna in Belur Math. After visiting the Charushila Devi Mandir, we left Deoghar and set off our journey to the next destination Simultala.This one day trip to Deoghar was awesome that cannot be expressed by words.
