#DiscontentOfTheIsraelites #ComplainingAttitude #Grumbling #PrayForHoliness TOPIC: DO YOU WANT TO GROW OR JUST GRUMBLE AND CRUMBLE? First Reading: Numbers 11:4B-15 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 81:12-13, 14-15, 16-17 Alleluia: Matthew 4:4 Gospel: Matthew 14:13-21 In today’s first reading from the book of Numbers, the Israelites continue to complain about their hardship in the desert. They claim they have been starving because all they had to eat was manna. They want meat this time instead of the manna that has been fed them by God every single day. God did send them quails for dinner every day; too much, in fact, that they again complained. We reflect today on our own state of life ⏤ are we habitual complainers? This is the 482nd installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
