Terminal Boredom.

Terminal Boredom.

Terminal Boredom: Hi there. Sometimes when I feel bored, I hit myself in the thigh. Not so hard that I leave a bruise, but hard enough that I jolt awake. I don't do it out of self-harm (I think), but it certainly helps to keep me focused on whatever I'm doing. I suppose it's the same with music. Whenever I feel bored with whatever new I'm listening to, I open a Power Electronics or Free Jazz record just to feel alive. I suppose this is one of those "he jumps out of planes just to feel something" things, but this is less death-defying but migraine-inducing. I got really bored one night, so instead of playing Overwatch to numb the feeling, I decided to make this little mix. I wish I had something fancy to say, or perhaps a way to connect it to my life, but in all honesty, I just made it because I was bored. Anyway, the title comes from a short story collection by Izumi Suzuki of the same name. And to my surprise, as I put this mix together, it serves as a pretty good soundtrack to the book.
