This is a Christian testimony of discovering that many of the beliefs I had been taught were not actually biblical, and how reading Scripture led me through painful loss, repentance, and ultimately deeper faith in Christ. In 2020, I started reading the Bible, questioning my faith, challenging my beliefs against the Bible, and ended up losing my church, family, friends, and spiritual community. Today, I'm sitting down with you, candidly (no script, no B-roll, just vulnerability), and showing you the EXACT parts of the Bible that led me down the path of my faith deconstruction. This is a raw and personal testimony of God's faithfulness to a wayward child, and how the Gospel guided me to the Savior. I wanna show that choosing to follow the Word of God isn't always easy, and that the Holy Spirit's conviction leads us down a path our closest loved ones sometimes don't understand. This conversation is for anyone navigating the painful process of religious deconstruction or spiritual reformation to find Jesus. I pray that by sharing a bit of my testimony, those of you currently facing the pain, isolation, and confusion from being abandoned by your spiritual community will find God's grace and healing in the midst of your pain.
