The day begins when the local baron arrives with his son, Gennaro Fontanella. Isabella is asked to accompany Gennaro to the ancient ruins for a photography session, while Enzo and Cesare decide to follow on horseback for a more relaxed journey. Once at the ruins, Gennaro and Isabella wander off, leaving Enzo and Cesare with the car. But their peaceful wait turns to chaos when distant gunfire erupts. But the escape is blocked by Messina himself, forcing a brutal knife fight to decide who leaves the camp alive.
